This privacy policy covers the platform of Van Dijk Solutions and Wodan Digital ("we").

What we process

• From customers: name, e-mail address and (hashed) password of users, company name, address and VAT number for invoices, and the settings of your modules.
• From visitors of our customers: what a visitor types into the chat button, and the page where that happens. We are the processor for this; the customer is the controller.

Why

To provide the platform, to invoice you, to inform you about your account and to fix problems.

Sub-processors

Hosting (Netcup, Germany), Cloudflare, Mollie (payments), our mail provider and Sentry (error reports). For the Company recognition module also Snitcher B.V. (Netherlands). For the Company check module and the free tools also the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK API) and the European Commission (VIES).

Retention

We keep account data while your account exists and up to 30 days after. Invoices are kept for 7 years, as the law requires.

Your rights

You can see, correct or delete your data. Mail us at the contact address on this site. The processing of your visitors' data is covered by the data processing agreement, which you accept in the app.

Company recognition

With the Company recognition module we look up, for our customers, which company is behind the IP address of a website visitor. We send the IP address to Snitcher B.V. (Netherlands), which only returns company details. We do not store the IP address, only a hashed code of it for at most 30 days. Home and mobile connections are not recognised. We only show company data, never data about a person. The legal basis is our customer's legitimate interest in knowing which companies show interest.

Do you use Company recognition? Then add this paragraph to the privacy policy of your website:

We recognise which companies visit our website. To do so, the IP address of your visit is looked up at an external service that only returns a company name. The IP address is not stored and we never see who you are personally. We do this based on our legitimate interest in knowing which companies are interested in our products and services. If you visit us from a home or mobile connection, no company is recognised.

Company check and the free tools

With the Company check module and with the free tools on this site (check a VAT number and look up a KVK number) we send the company name, KVK number or VAT number you enter to the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK API) or the European Commission (VIES), which return company details or a validity result. We keep the entered number and the result for 90 days to prevent abuse, without any data about you beyond that number. For the module this happens on behalf of our customer, who accepts the data processing agreement for it.
